"R.I.P. Madeleine Blaustein 1960-2008
I am sad to inform you all, that I have recently been informed by separate sources of the loss of one of our beloved original voice actors, Madeleine Blaustein, unfortunately passed away in her sleep last week. She was one of the voice actors who were in it from the start and she is most famous among the Pokémon community for providing the voice of Meowth in the american dub from Episode 32 up to Episode 421 and the first eight movies among various other characters. She was a kind person and even took time out of her busy schedule to do a Q&A session on the forums here. She will be sorely missed among the community and our hearts go out to all her friends and family during this difficult time.

However, serebii.net has a bit of a rotten reputation for not doing the research in the Pokemon community and a web search under the names Maddie Blaustein, Madeleine Blaustein, and Adam Blaustein (her birth name) turn up no other reports of this. Has anyone else (particularly Omega, I know you're a fan of hers) heard anything about it? Only clue I can find one way or anotherr is that Maddie hasn't logged into MySpace since early December. I realize she's not that high-profile and isn't exactly going to turn up in every paper across the nation, but... I love Meowth, and after reading her Q&A topic on Serebii I thought that she was a truly awesome person. If this is true, I'm absolutely devastated... and if it's bunk, then I don't care if Serebii is the only site I can find with Mystery Dungeon dexes, I ain't going back. Do the freakin' research, dude. /off topic rant
