I also had an experience in 1997 when the music I was listening to filtered into my dream. Perhaps what I was having at the time was called a Lucid Dream, not sure. But I remember it feeling really cool and weird at the same time. So, what do I see? I don't particularly pick a certain song, but when I listen to a general bubblegum track, I think of a being in a huge entertainment "fun" center with several different rooms: dancing, bowling, paintball, rollerskating, video game room, rollercoaster room, go-karts, swimming pool, water slides etc... They play dance music in every room! Because so many people attend each week, every activity is a success! Every Friday night they broadcast the Top 20 songs of the week which people vote via I-Pod (technology only allows 1 vote per hour per Ipod)...and every New Years Eve there is a huge party where they broadcast the Top 100 songs of the year with artist interviews and trivia and since it's wintertime, there is sledding w/huge hills and snowboarding competitions, iceskating competition, etc.. There is an outdoor track circling the entire area YEAR-ROUND...Beautiful light decorations are changed every season. It's almost like the Olympics where they have different sports and activities happening every weekend (summertime sports and wintertime sports). Every weekend, 2 or 3 music groups will perform live... but mostly during the summer when they have huge festival near 4th of July with huge concert. Cuisines from many different cultures around the world are served every weekend,,YUMM!!! During the winter, much of the outdoor area is domed since the weather is proned for Kansas-style thunderstorms that produce heavy wind-blown snow!!! HA HA!!

train-like shuttles transport people around the community to make transportation both safe and simple. To get from one side of the city to the other takes less than 3 or 4 transfers... regardless of weather conditions!

Yup, that's what I see when I listen to music. That's my vision of heaven I guess. Since the music is happy, I think happy thoughts and for some reason those are the thoughts that come to mind. Better than smoking pot I guess.

My song-pictures are usually unrelated to the song in question, though if it tells a story then the characters in the fandom I'm involved in at the time end up playing it out. Currently it's Catscratch and has been for a long time. I'm such a dweeb. ^_^;; Otherwise, I usually just see whatever I was doing the first time I really listened to the song. It's very odd.

One of my favorites is The Frog Prince. The princess hated the frog, but because he got her ball back for her, she had to let him into the castle with her. And when he tried to lay on her bed, she threw him against the wall!! And THAT'S when he turned back into a prince XD

In the version I have, which claims to be the original, the wolf ate the grandmother and the girl and then was sleeping in the bed when a hunter came in (no idea why @-@), cut open the wolf's stomach and pulled the the grandmother and the girl out, who were both still alive ^^;;; Then he put some rocks in the wolf's stomach before he sewed it up, and when the wolf woke up, he couldn't run away and just died o.-

That version of the Cinderella story was on that site as well, although I had heard of it before. It was mentioned in a fantasy compilation I read once (then twice, then thrice, then some more)... I want to say it was "A Wolf At The Door" or "Book of Enchantments", but I read so many of those things as a tyke that I really can't be sure. In any case, its presence on the site makes me feel that that morbid Little Red Riding Hood existed in some form as an accepted telling, but I don't know.

I also remember that it linked to a Flash video of LLRH. That blasted thing gave me nightmares. Meep...

I don't remember the thing about the string or the bed, though... it was a fusion of the old and new one. The bird warns her about the meal, she ignores him and eats it, goes to the wolf, does the "what big teeth you have" routine, she gets chomped, story end. I'm mostly remembering the Flash video, so it likely fused the two together for who knows why.
