1. Shalala lala- When I heard this I was surprised that it wasn’t up beat like the songs in their first album, but as I kept listening I began to like it and by the end I loved it, it’s a very cutsie tootsie tropical song.
2. 24/7 in my 911- This one has a more bubblegum/pop sound and it’s still very catchy and I loved the beat sequence and its hard not to sing a long to this song.
3. Kiss (when the sun don’t shine) - Definitely Vengaboy’s Style, its very bouncy and catchy love the beat and the lyrics, I first heard this song through the video and instantly fell in love it’s a great track that keeps up with their party style.
4. Uncle John from Jamaica- Amazing! I immediately loved this song, it has a very catchy chorus and I played this lot to the point where I had my neighbor humming the tune. He loved it a lot he went out and bought the album.
5. Cheekah Bow Bow (the computer song) - This is their best Bubblegum Dance style song, I love the robot concept and the lyrics because they are very dirty and funny to sing a long too. The beat is definitely Venga Style and I love blasting this in my stereo.
6. 48 Hours- love this song it was definitely cool that they kept their style and progression, very Euro-Dance at points it reminded me of Alice Deejay.
7. Your place or mine?- A surprised to hear a slow song just because they had no slow songs in the previous one but I did like it, the vocals were great and the lyrics were good. I love that although slow it still had a beat.
8. Skinnydippin’- Great mix of the male vocals with the song, the entire song is really fun, love the beat it was definitely different, I would say this was more Euro-Dance but I love Euro-Dance so I loved it.
9. Take me to the city- definitely my favorite track out of the whole entire album, I love the beginning it is very catch and love how it flows into the lyrics and the beat, this is the perfect dance song I love how it has a fusion of Boom Boom and we like to party with a similar sound to Cheekah Bow Bow.
10. Forever as one- Another surprise, this one had not beat so in the beginning I’m not going to lie I skipped it, didn’t get to listen to this until a year after I bought this, I’m not a big fan of slow songs so I have to be in the mood to give it a chance, but now I have to admit its actually pretty good, not my favorite but good.
11. Opus 3 in D#- The song name when I bought this alone sparked my curiosity, it is definitely more Euro-Trance, but I was blown away I love this its great, I’m glad they put this in, one of my favorites, it is definitely not Venga style it’s more Alice Deejay, But hey I love Alice Deejay so I definitely love this song.
The Vengaboy’s 2nd album is definitely very different than what I expected. It had it all Slow, pop, Bubblegum, Trance, and Euro-Dance in my opinion, the result was great I love this album because it stayed true to their style and they tried something different it worked out so I give this a 10.
