OK, so me and my parents developed this way to watch the previews in the theater and actually not mind it at all!
Its kind of a "review of the preview" basically you kind of rate the movie based on the preview you just watched (since movie theater preview are way longer than what you see on a commercial in most cases)
So heres how you score it, its fun to whisper with the person you are with after each preview:
"I'll wait for that one to come out in the theater!" -- this movie is definitely one you will be in the theater DAY ONE to see, no doubts, as you watched the preview you knew it was right-in-line with the kind of movie you are totally into or had a very interesting story or you are a Sc-Fi fan for example and its Star Trek...then DUH!
"I'll wait for that one come out on rentals" -- This movie looks interesting enough to watch for sure without missing but either it looks like they are potential plot-holes, or it isnt very serious and not worth the theater $$ (goof-ball comedies), not really the kind of movie you normally go for but looks interesting enough to try, or heck if you have Red-Box in your area "I'll spend a $1 on it!"
"I'll wait for that one to come out on TV" -- Not very interesting at first glance, but if you saw it in the TV guide a couple of years down the road you'd go "Oh yeah I remember that one when it came out, I will give that one a shot" Basically not so bad that you wouldnt even use two hours of your life to watch it.
"I'll wait for that one *pause*...to go away!" -- You couldnt even be gagged or dragged to watch it. You know right away "This sucks" and know that you would never waste your time.
Try using this but each one NEEDS to have "I'll wait"...in front to have the full effect. I came up with the "Go away" one out of no where on the spot one time and we coudnt stop laughing for like a week about it.
I know random thread, but I'm a random person, SO DEAL!
