What's your opinion of Atomic Kitten?
They are my favourite band, you surely recognized....
Some short introduction.
British girl band consisting of Natasha Hamilton, Liz McClarnon and Jenny Frost(formerly with Kerry Katona). Founded in 1998 by OMD-member Andy McCluskey, who wanted to revive New Wave with modern pop sounds. First Album Right Now was mainly wirtten by McCluskey, and is full of powerful ballads(top hit Whole Again and Bangles cover Eternal Flame) and overspeeded dance-pop(Right Now, See Ya) with happy and crazy content. Second Album was Feels So Good. The girls got rid of McCluskey while FSG and wrote their own stuff which was much more Disco. Their third and last album Ladies Night was full of disco and dance tracks. After that, they paused in 2004 and released only few new stuff - like the WorldCup2006-track All together now(a The Farm cover).
Most of their songs are love songs.
I wanna pick up some remarks here....
Yes, that's right. They made also a video especially for the US market - the european one seemed to be to sexually offensive...
That may seem so, because the big singles Eternal Flame(Bangles), The Tide Is High(Blondie) and Ladies Night(Kool and the Gang) are covers. But i can assure you, most of their songs were new.

'Whole Again' was done in two versions, with their two different lead singers...I liked the original kiddie-voiced sounding one.

I think Atomic Kitten's OK, the only thing I have against them is the fact that they have no original music.
